This is my story...

Ah, my first day in the nexus you ask? Yes, I remember it... vaguely. From my current standpoint I would say it was rather uneventful, being the adventurer I am, but in fact it was full of suprises.

My first day in the Nexus marked the last in a 3 month journey from the west, where I had been born and raised. I fourtunately knew the tongue of this land, and could get by without my native tongue, however was still unprepared for what I would find in the legendary lands of the Mythic Nexus. I entered Buya after being checked by the guards, and determined that I had a few things to do for certain before the day ended. The first was to find a bank and put away my money. The second, find myself some lodging until I could find a home. Finally, as I had long ago determined that I came to this land to get away from the dead-ended blackmarketer job I'd been doing to the west, (along with pety crimes I now look upon in shame), I had to find a job or position in which to quickly assert myself so I could go on without withering away in this feudal region. That's when I found Maso...

Maso told me although I was a mere Peasant, I had potential and he could train me. I accepted his guidance, and prepared myself for the trials ahead with his first initial training. He sent me to find him many acorns and rabbit fillets, although I knew not what this would accomplish, I did it. Soon after, I completed the task exceptionally as he had put it, reaching the 10th level of his standards. He then told me some of the items had to be sacrificed in learning some of what he would teach, and the rest I was to keep, as it would be needed while camping out on adventures.

By this time the day had dragged on long enough, the moon was reaching it's peak in the sky, and I decided to turn in. It was then that I had unknowingly taken a wrong turn down and alley, finding one named Chongun finishing off someone who had probably betrayed him as I would have. He fled quickly, before I could do more than identify or speak to him, however his impression was to last a long time. I then turned around and head towards Yunsil's tavern, my body aching with the many burdens of the day and of those yet to come.

That is how I began, and ended, my first day in these lands my friend. 'Tis also howand why I came to assert myself to where I am now, and it is most of all where I began my journey... my story.
