Several moons ago, Devion had a vision of the direction he saw monk path in, and the direction he felt that it was heading.. however, this vision was very vague, the only aspect that could be clearly remembered and confirmed, were monks walking and sharing stories of travel, also, all of the monks had attained a sense of inner peace .. but how? That is what Devion wanted to know, and that is why he sent out walker and guide alike to confirm this vision, and shed new light to it, hopefully bringing about a clearer meaning..

I had decided that after speaking to Devion about this vision, that the best place to reflect on it would be at the tallest mountain in the Vale, where the winds originate and can be made into armor..while concentrating on Devion's vision, it was revealed to me by the spirit of my grandmother, that makoto, or truth would be a vital part of how Monks are to attain this inner peace which Devion saw.

Flairck, upon hearing of this vision sought ot Devion as well. After sharing words of the vague vision Devion had, and of hopes for this seemingly new direction of Monk, Flairck took refuge in the shrine of Ohaeng. While in the shrine meditating, his thoughts wandered to the battle between the Kingdom and the Forsaken clan, and the sights and sounds of battle he had experienced..fighting, curses to each other..when it all had seemed too much for him, he had opened his eyes to the peace and balance that was Ohaeng surrounding him..if these people who had been doing battle with one another had only given more serious thought to the repercussions of their actions, much bloodshed could have been avoided... coming to this realization, Flarick had discovered that part of the way to this inner peace Devion wittness, rested within the way of mind before hand.

The next that had set off to delve into the meaning of Devion's vision was Vexiplex. To Vexiplex, the best place to do this was in the depths of Purgatory. After speaking to Devion, Vexiplex had journeyed there, his thoughts of pain..of love..of life..and most clearly thoughts of self and awareness of self. After much time was spent pondering these thoughts, it suddenly came to him like a candle being lit in a pitch-black room. Vexiplex had discovered, that one of the roads to inner peace, was knowing yourself.

Rhianwyn was the next to embark on a journey of discovery after hearing of Devion's vision. She had decided that the best place to journey back to a place of her childhood, the hilly landscape of East Guol. While in deep meditation, Rhianwyn had visions of herself speaking to her father, watching her younger self master the art of healing, and visions of impatience which still occurs around her to this day..through these visions, she had awakened to the reality that to reach inner peace, one must be patient.

Next to begin on a journey for herself was Desvet. After hearing of Devion's vision and giving it careful thought, she thought it better that rather than venture to a solitary mountain top or abandoned area, that she would best find what she was looking for in the fishing town of Hausson. For two moons, Desvet had lived in the small fishing town, befriending and gaining the trust of several members of the Hausson community. When she did leave however, it was with the knowledge that to be optimistic, was a key part to gaining inner peace.

Next we'll address Sillylove's take on Devion's vision. When he spoke to Devion on the way monk was going..similar to Desvet, Silly did not go to a high mountaintop or desolate out of the way area. Silly thought that the model location to search out the meaning of Devion's vision, would be the village of the leviathans, one of the more truly misunderstood places in the kingdom. Through his wanderings in Nagnang, and talks with the leviathans, he was better able to understand them. Through learning the ways on the Nagnang and the leviathan, combined of what he already knew of the land of Koguryo, he was better able to understand himself..Silly left Nagnang knowing that by understanding other lands and their ways, you can bring yourself closer to inner peace.

The founder of Monk, Greta..was the next to seek knowledge based on Devion's vision. She however did not have to go far to gain insight..she chose to remain in thier circle. Alone in the circle, while her thoughts were fixed on Devion's vision , her mentor Mu Ling appeared to her. Through his words, Greta had learned, that achieving the balance of body and mind, was a key element to inner peace.

Next was Baxaca, after speaking to Devion, Baxaca quickly took refuge in the area of a waterfall in vale he knew, why he chose this place still remains a mystery, perhaps the sound of the water rushing against the rocks was pleasing to him, or maybe a memorable incident occurred there that he has yet to share..however, I find myself digressing from the main idea. While Baxaca let his thoughts roam to Devion's vision, he saw several visions of people helping others. Through these visions among other things, he came to the conclusion that helping others, knowing when to ask for help, and the sharing of knowledge was yet another element to inner peace.

Lathander, upon hearing Devion's vision, left for a location unknown, perhaps he did not want to be found during his meditation, anyway..in his vision caught glimpses pertaining to his family..his love, and his general life walking in these lands, in these visions of his life, he realized how important it was to know and understand those around you. Lathander returned to the circle, with the knowledge of understanding others would help you to achieve inner peace.

This finally brings us to the tale of Kittymeoww and Woolfe..both set out to the wilderness, though not at the same time to find something after speaking to Devion on his vision. Both Kitty and Woolfe set out looking for the same thing, but had both come back empty handed..or had they? Kitty left for the wilderness, thinking of the other monks and the visions they had seen, but in the end had returned with what she thought was nothing...Woolfe had gone to the Wilderness, giving Devion's vision some thought..but also thoughts of pride toward his own achievements..there was one thing that he did not achieve though, and that was part of the way to achieve inner peace...both of them felt pretty humbled..however, in time they discovered that humility was part of the formula for inner peace as well.

Now here we are several moons later...all the guides have long since returned carrying within themselves new wisdom based on what they saw in their own respective vision. After much discussion among the guides, it had become clear that what Devion had seen, was a new monk, a monk that achieved a oneness, an inner peace with themselves...more deeply discussing out visions, we had decided there were several ways that had to be mastered before this could be achieved.

Honesty....

Thought before action...

Knowing one's self self...

Knowing and understanding others...

Patience...

Optimism...

Knowing the lands around you...

Sharing what you know, helping when you can..

Balance of the mind and body...

Humility...

There was more though..something that none of us had experienced, but we all knew it was there to find. For this reason, Devion gave us all spears, and encourages us to wander the lands, learning what we can, helping who we can, in hopes that we could find the missing pieces, to this puzzle that is inner peace.
