With a heart of sorrow,
I write this poem for thee,
Of a friend who lives no longer,
A true man, indeed...
His laughter brought us joy,
His smile set us at ease,
His friendship will last us forever,
A true man, indeed...
His life was shortly lived,
Ended swiftly by other's greed,
But we will never forget Kiroku,
A true man, indeed...
So when when you see the sunrise,
Outlooking over the sea,
Always remember our dear friend,
A true man, indeed...
