Chongun Ode
Sought did we the precious ore
The finest metal, e'er spoken of in myth or lore
Far in the wilderness, a mile off or more
If you were to walk as the crow does soar
Entered we the Caves of red
Dyed by the iron the ground had bled
By my side stood one who never fled
From a battle ere all adversaries lay dead
The rising tide of tigers came
And out his sword he drew
With it he did the beasts tame
In my defense every one he slew.
Within him he held, above many a foe
Valor and courage, His name was ShuMo
He held the strength of an army, though he be only one
and the Honor and Strength of the mighty Chongun!
