The Eldership of Limdul

LimDul was born in the mid-teen Yuri's, approximately the 15th year of King Yuri's reign. Learning of the path of the Chongun, the honorable warrior, LimDul joined their ranks, meditating in the circle daily, gaining enlightenment and balance. LimDul befriended his brothers and became a viable member of the community. Living the life of the Chongun for a few Yuri's, LimDul would be prepared for the trials to come.

During the Shattering, LimDul fought bravely against the forces of Sagu, as a Chongun and a Warrior. Unfortunately, the Chongun Elder, MaDog, was nowhere to be found, and by the time of the Great Shift, the Chongun path was in need of an Elder. Struggling through the massive changes, the Chongun path persevered, through many adversities. The new Dream Weaver, Grin, was hesitant to intervene on the behalf of the Chongun, but the time came when it would be required. After the Great Shift, the Chongun would find that they were out of a home. Searching the palace grounds in Buya for their Sodo, with no luck, the Chonguns wearily rested in Inns and the homes of kind merchants and citizens. Grin, seeing their despair, was forced to write a letter to them, informing them of the location of the circle, now found on the palace grounds in Kugnae.

Once home, and safe, the Chongun began to discuss Madog. They all hoped she would return, and did not want to make a new Elder. With no real power themselves over who would become the Elder officially, the Dream Weaver Grin was contacted by several concerned members of the community, and intervened on a much greater scale now. The Chongun Precious, Nadisco, Gamefire, CalmWind and LimDul were all excellent candidates, but who? Grin interviewed the Chongun, and narrowed the choices to two, Precious and LimDul. Precious wishing to remain as walker, declined the Dream Weaver's invitations of Eldership, and finally the leader in LimDul arose and took the position. A new reign had begun.

Deciding that the Subpath must grow further, which could not be accomplished by one man, LimDul looked out upon the small group of faithful Chongun, and would over time, make six guides, as chosen by MaDog and a few himself. The guides duty was to train and induct warriors into the path, as well as preform a few other community based services such as give titles of nobility, and pardon the condemned. These six were as follows; Gildenstar, ICeMAnAbk, Frogger, CalmWind, DopeSoap, and DarkThoughts.

Content with his guides' abilities, LimDul retreated to his inner sanctum often to meditate and train. Sadly, after much time, his faithful wife Velstar divorced him, sending him into a deep depression. ICeMAnAbk, a good friend of LimDul, would often assist him in Public training sessions in the Buyan Warrior Guild's Tutorial Hall. IceManAbk and Gildenstar struggled to hold the path together when LimDul would take extended sabbaticals and retreats.

On one of these such retreats, LimDul had planned to only be gone a day or so, but this day would turn into many weeks, and these weeks into years. LimDul was gone, and experiencing many changes. He was waging a war, a private and personal war, not on an conventional and traditional field of battle, but in the battlefield of the mind. All of the Chonguns understood the consequences of extended leaves of Elders, they had gone through the absence of MaDog. However, a time had come to choose a new elder, LimDul was not coming back. Meeting with ICeMAnAbk, Gildenstar, and Dopesoap, Grin took up his past duties, and appointed Gildenstar. The administration of LimDul had ended, and that of Gildenstar had begun.
